Tran Bich Hanh has accumulated extensive experience in the banking and finance sectors, currently serving as the Managing Director and Head of the Financial Institutions Center, as well as Deputy Head of the Financial Market Department at TPBank since September 2013. Prior to TPBank, Tran held the position of Associate Director in Financial Market Sales at Standard Chartered Bank from 2007 to August 2013 and served as a Global Markets Dealer at Vietcombank in 2006-2007. Academic qualifications include a Postdoctoral Researcher position in Economics, Banking & Finance at Kyoto University (2004-2006), a Ph.D. in Economics, Banking & Finance from the same institution (2000-2004), a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Banking & Finance from the National Economics University in Vietnam, a Master of Science in Financial Management from the University of London, and a High School Diploma in Chemistry from Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted.
