Akira Gunji

Akira Gunji, AIA, NCARB, is a seasoned architect with extensive experience in multi-family residential projects and urban development. Currently serving as a Project Architect and Senior Associate at TPG Architecture since October 2021, Gunji previously held roles including Project Architect and Associate at the same firm and Senior Designer at Fogarty Finger Architecture PLLC. Notable accomplishments include the completion of several significant multi-family residences in New York, New Jersey, and notable contributions to a LEED certified mixed-use building in Brooklyn. Gunji's design expertise has been recognized through various awards, including participation in the 2008 AIA NY Honor Award-winning project “Beatfuse.” Educational qualifications include an SMarchS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BArch from Pratt Institute.
