Motonobu Kurokawa

Motonobu Kurokawa is a Principal at Kurokawa Architect, PLLC since June 2012, where notable achievements include receiving Honorable Mentions in the Orange County Crime Victim’s Memorial Design Competition and the New Housing New York (NHNY) Design Competition, as well as a First Prize in the Ephemeral Structures in the City of Athens Competition. Concurrently, Motonobu Kurokawa has served as a Project Designer at TPG Architecture since November 2004, contributing to various projects such as the M&B Building and the Islamic Cultural Center of New York. Prior experience includes a Designer role at Lee Timchula Architect from August 1998 to November 2004, working on significant projects like the Shenzhen Citizen’s Center. Academic credentials include a Master of Architecture from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
