TRA-C industrie (Lyon area, France) is a leading expert in metalworking industry. Our diverse partner portfolio ranges from nuclear, defence, petrochemical to rail fields. Our core businesses are: 1. Engineering & Production Solutions Manufacture parts for the entire product life cycle (draft, design, industrial prototyping, production of special tools and machines, mass production until the end of life and obsolescence management). TRA-C Industrie research helps quickly double industrial capacity of production and management experience of complex integrated systems. 2. Friction Stir Welding Develop turnkey solutions for several large international groups with an ecological welding technology, FSW (Friction Stir Welding). We are especially the first company in France to have developed the Mixing Friction (FSW) welding process in series mode. We also have a latest generation FSW machine in those premises and be able to develop and produce parts using FSW. 3. Training and Technical Assistance Provide technical assistance with training for metal careers (boiler, piping, welding, etc.) and technology transfer in the field. We have acquired a Clermont Ferrand training center in 2012 to accommodate trainees and has a team of 15 trainers, lapped with missions abroad and driven by the knowledge transmission that we deploy around the world (Africa, SE Asia, Asia) alongside major groups in international projects.
