Mark Gibbons

Mark Gibbons has a diverse work experience in software quality assurance and engineering roles. Mark is currently working at TraceLink as the Software Quality Assurance Team Lead since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer at TraceLink from August 2018 to February 2021.

Before joining TraceLink, Mark worked at X-Rite as an Associate Software Engineer from February 2017 to June 2018. In this role, they developed software on iOS, Mac, and Windows platforms using XCode and Visual Studio. Mark used programming languages such as C/C++, Objective C, Swift, and Ruby. Mark also had experience with tools like TestFlight, iTunesConnect, TFS, SVN, Git, Git-lfs, and GitHub. Previously at X-Rite, they served as a Senior Software QA Engineer from January 2005 to February 2017. In this position, they tested client/server applications, desktop products, mobile applications, SDKs, and hardware instrument integrations. Mark was responsible for creating and executing test plans and automation scripts in an agile environment and documenting test execution reports and reproducible bugs.

Prior to X-Rite, Mark worked at Thermo Electron as a Test Engineer from July 2002 to July 2004, where they tested client/server applications, desktop products, and data conversion utilities while adhering to FDA regulations. Mark was involved in creating test plans, executing test scripts, and documenting test execution reports and bugs.

From July 2000 to May 2002, Mark worked at Pumatech, Inc. as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. Mark performed testing on client/server applications and three-tier web and e-commerce applications. Their responsibilities included writing test plans, executing test scripts, and documenting test execution reports and bugs.

Mark began their career at Eastman Software, Inc. as a Software Quality Engineer from May 1998 to June 2000. In this role, they tested client/server applications, OLE Automation server, and three-tier web and e-commerce applications using IIS. Mark was responsible for creating test plans, executing test scripts, and documenting test execution reports and bugs.

Mark Gibbons attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 1992 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
