Jose Padilla has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2010, they worked as a Research Assistant in the Computer Technology Department at the University of Alicante. From 2012 to 2015, they pursued their PhD in the same department, specializing in privacy protection in images and videos. From 2017 to 2021, they held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Prensalink.com, where they played a crucial role in overseeing the company's technology operations. In 2020, they co-founded Trackingplan, a company where they currently hold the position of Co-Founder.

From 2005 to 2008, they attended Universitat d'Alacant and earned a degree in Technical Engineering in Computer Systems. From 2008 to 2010, they continued their education at the same university and obtained a degree in Computing Engineering. Following this, they pursued an Official Master's degree in Computer Technologies from 2010 to 2011 at Universitat d'Alacant. Finally, from 2012 to 2015, they enrolled in a Programa de Doctorado Tecnologías de la Sociedad de la Información (Ph.D. program in Information Society Technologies) at the same university and specialized in the field of Computer Science.
