Benoît Patanchon has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Benoît currently serves as the Managing Director at Tractel® since July 2020. Prior to this, they were a Founding & Board Member at ALAIN AFFLELOU COLOMBIA from March 2018 to August 2022.
From April 2013 to June 2020, Benoît worked as the Managing & Project Director at COLISEO INTERNACIONAL SAS. In this role, they were responsible for managing overall company general management, providing strategic advice to the board, identifying and developing new business opportunities, and negotiating major deals. Benoît also set up and monitored corporate and project HSSEQ procedures.
Benoît also served as the Treasurer Board Of Directors at Cámara De Comercio E Industria Colombo Panameña from August 2017 to May 2018.
From December 2011 to March 2013, they worked at Spiecapag as the Plant, Procurement & Logistics Manager, overseeing logistics and procurement processes to improve profitability. Benoît also served as a Tender Project Engineer and a Camp Manager on different projects during their time at Spiecapag.
Prior to that, Benoît worked as a Project Manager at Horizontal Drilling International, where they managed horizontal directional drilling works worldwide and handled contractual and financial matters.
Benoît began their career as an Offshore Jack Up & Jetty Concrete Engineer at Saipem in April 2006 and also worked briefly as a Supervisor at GTOI - LES GRANDS TRAVAUX DE L'OCEAN INDIEN in June 2005.
Benoît Patanchon earned an executive MBA in Management from Universidad de Los Andes between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Bâtiment (Ingénieur ETP) from Ecole spéciale des Travaux publics, du Bâtiment et de l'Industrie from 2003 to 2006. In addition, they obtained a PMP certification from Project Management Institute in December 2013.
