Yi Zhang

Yi Zhang is a Senior Product Designer at Trade Me since August 2023, following a role as a UX/UI Designer at Experieco where the project focused on digitizing a pen-and-paper process to enhance efficiency. Prior experience includes serving as a Digital Product Designer for Z Energy at RUSH, where collaboration with cross-functional teams led to app optimization and redesign. Other positions held include Digital Product Designer at Heartland Bank LTD, Graphic Designer at MediaWorks NZ, and various graphic and digital design roles at McLaren Brown Media, Saddlery Warehouse, THEIA, and BEST Pacific Institute of Education. Yi Zhang holds a Bachelor of Arts in Design Studies and Film, Television, and Media Studies from the University of Otago, completed in 2013.
