Andrej MacHacek

Andrej Machacek serves as the Director of Technology, Telecoms & Sustainable Industries at British International Investment since September 2021, focusing on growth equity and debt investments in tech-enabled enterprises across emerging and developed markets. Previously, Andrej held the position of Director for Consumer & Business Services at CDC Group plc from March 2020 to September 2021. Andrej's investment portfolio includes roles as Investor and Board Observer for several companies, including TooMuchWifi, Sonatel Senegal, AMN Group, MaxAB, Moniepoint Group, and Safaricom Telecommunications Ethiopia PLC. Andrej obtained an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MA in Economics & Management from the University of Oxford.
