Maida Khan

Maida Khan is a data scientist with a diverse background in academia and industry. Starting in 2016, Maida worked as a .NET Developer at Systems Limited before transitioning to a Lecturer role at the University of the Punjab, where they specialized in teaching Database Management Systems. In 2017, Maida joined the University of Central Punjab as an Associate Lecturer in Computer Science and later became a Lecturer in Computer Science, teaching core programming courses and conducting research projects on artificial intelligence. In 2018, Maida joined desider labs as an Associate Data Scientist, where they contributed to various projects involving natural language processing, computer vision, sentiment analysis, and deep learning. During their time at desider labs, they also held the position of Lead Data Scientist. Most recently, Maida joined AutoTrader.ca in 2022 as a Data Scientist.

Maida Khan pursued their education at the University of the Punjab. From 2012 to 2016, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Software Engineering. Following this, from 2016 to 2018, they furthered their studies at the same university and obtained their Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree with a focus on Computer Science.
