Ross Alexander has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ross began their career in 2006 as a Lecturer at the University of the West of Scotland, where they taught various courses related to programming and graphics. Ross then worked as a Lecturer at Stow College, leading courses on game development and programming from 2006 to 2008. Following this, they joined triOS College Business Technology Healthcare as a Lecturer, where they taught video game design and development.
In 2009, Ross joined Synaptic Vision Inc as a Senior Developer, where they managed both the development team and clients. Ross was responsible for the entire development process, from gathering requirements to final deployment. Ross worked on a wide range of projects during their time there.

In 2020, Ross joined Flipp as a Partner Technology Manager, owning the feature roadmap for high-profile retailers and conducting accessibility reviews. Ross then moved to Amazon as a Senior Product Manager in 2020, where they led product management for an internal employee satisfaction platform and collaborated with development and data science teams to define KPIs and deliver data insights.
Currently, Ross is working at AutoTrader.ca as a Senior Product Manager.
Ross Alexander attended Glasgow Caledonian University from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a 2:1 Honours degree in Computing with Artificial Intelligence, specializing in Computer Science. Additionally, they acquired various certifications throughout their career, including Advanced SQL for Data Scientists, Advanced SQL for Query Tuning and Performance Optimization, Balanced Scorecard and Key Performance Indicators, How to Have Productive One-on-One Meetings, SQL: Data Reporting and Analysis, Introduction to Web Accessibility, and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
