Shawn Pritchard

Shawn Pritchard has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Shawn currently works as a Full Stack Developer at AutoTrader.ca since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at MindGeek as a Senior Software Developer for almost a decade, from January 2013 to November 2022.

Shawn also has experience as a Freelance PHP Developer and Webmaster at webexceed, where they managed dedicated Linux servers and provided website hosting and webmaster services. Shawn also performed custom application programming and e-commerce/API integrations for small and home-based businesses. Shawn worked at webexceed from July 1999 to December 2012.

Additionally, Shawn worked as a Senior Programmer at ContactPilot, Inc., where they helped create a web application for call centres. Shawn was responsible for tracking contacts, processing payments/refunds, and integrating with various payment gateways. Shawn held this role from January 2006 to April 2011.

Shawn's early work experience includes a role at The Regional Group of Companies Inc. as a Technical Support/Administrative Assistant. During their time there, they automated manual processes, leading to a reduction in support staff and photography expenses. Shawn worked at the company from January 1990 to July 1998.

Shawn Pritchard has a diverse education history. In 1986-1987, they attended Sir Wilfrid Laurier High School and obtained OSSGD with Honours degree in High School. Following that, from 1988 to 1989, they pursued a 2-year diploma in Business - Accounting at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology. In 1992-1994, Shawn attended Fanshawe College and completed a 2-year diploma in Business - Information Systems. Later, in 1998-1999, they enrolled in Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology and completed a Certificate Program in Internet/Intranet Programmer Specialist. Additionally, Shawn obtained a certification in Learning GDPR from LinkedIn in September 2018.
