Neil Hume is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in financial reporting and corporate communications. Currently serving as the Global Head of Media for Trafigura since September 2022, Neil continues a robust career that includes significant roles at the Financial Times from April 2006 to September 2022, where Neil held various positions such as Natural Resources Editor and Asia Pacific Correspondent. Prior to that, Neil worked at The Guardian from January 2000 to March 2006 as a markets reporter, earning recognition as an award-winning reporter. Neil holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Politics from the University of Warwick, completed in 1996.
