Eric Sachs

Eric Sachs, CPA, MBA has over 20 years of work experience in finance, accounting, and risk management. Currently, they are the Director of Financial Reporting at Trajector. Prior to this, they worked as an Expert Consultant, focusing on the Three Lines of Defense Model. From 2019 to 2021, they held various roles at Nicholas Financial Inc., including Director of SEC Reporting & Risk Management and SEC & Financial Reporting Manager/Internal Audit. Eric also gained experience as a Senior Manager in Risk Advisory Services at BDO and as a Director of Internal Audit at Laureate International Universities, TMX Finance, and Tech Data. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Manager in Risk Advisory Services at Ernst & Young and Crowe Horwath LLP. Eric started their career at Herman Miller, where they served as the Business Risk Assurance Manager and gained experience in SEC filings, internal audit, and compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Eric Sachs, CPA, MBA received a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Administration from Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business. Eric then obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Western Michigan University - Haworth College of Business. Eric also completed Advanced Problem Solving (Six Sigma - Black Belt Training) at Eastern Michigan University. In addition, they hold certifications as a Certified Life Coach from LightUniversity and as a Certified Public Accountant from the State of Michigan.
