Duncan Webster

Duncan Webster is a seasoned professional in external affairs, currently serving as Senior Advisor at TransAlta since June 2019, with a progression of roles in the organization including Advisor and Analyst in External Affairs. Prior experience includes Policy and Government Relations Manager at the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, and various positions within the Government of Canada and Government of Alberta, where Duncan held significant roles such as Constituency Manager and Special Assistant to several ministers. Additionally, Duncan has experience in the energy sector with Cenovus Energy and has worked in recruitment and summer student positions at the University of Alberta and the Government of Alberta. Duncan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Alberta, completed in 2013.
