Kerstan “Jay” Cook

Kerstan “Jay” Cook is an experienced professional with a career spanning over two decades in financial management and training. Currently serving as a Transitional Trainer at TransAm Trucking, Inc. since May 2004, Cook specializes in training employees on accounting requirements and month-end reporting. In previous roles, Cook held the position of Controller and Chief Risk Officer, directing commodities analysis to mitigate risks related to fluctuating commodity prices and coordinating a multi-million dollar recovery from a class action lawsuit. Prior to joining TransAm Trucking, Cook was the Midwest Region Controller at Herc Rentals, where responsibilities included financial statement preparation and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Cook holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Kansas.
