Peter Carlson

Peter Carlson is an experienced financial professional with a strong track record in sales and marketing within the investment management sector. Currently serving as Regional Vice President at Transamerica since April 2014, Carlson manages the distribution of Transamerica Mutual Funds and ETFs across various channels in Middle to East Tennessee, Alabama, and the Florida Panhandle. Previously, as Regional Vice President at RS Investments from October 2008 to November 2013, Carlson successfully grew sales from zero to $145 million in the territory. Additional experience includes a tenure as Vice President at Fidelity Investments, where Carlson oversaw sales and marketing for institutional and retail products, and roles at Tullett Prebon and Garvin Guybutler Corporation in various capacities. Carlson began their career as a Trader at Mitsubishi UFJ Trust & Banking Corporation. Peter Carlson holds a degree from Elon University, where education was completed from 1982 to 1986.
