Andrew Rivera

Andrew Rivera is an accomplished design leader with extensive experience in user experience (UX) and design across various industries. Currently serving as Head of Design & UX Research at Transcend since December 2024, Andrew previously held the position of Senior Director of Product Design at Alation, where the company is recognized for its data intelligence solutions. Prior to that, Andrew accumulated significant experience at Walmart eCommerce in roles such as Senior Director and Director of User Experience, and at Macys.com as Director of User Experience. Andrew also held key leadership positions at California State Automobile Association and Bank of America, focusing on innovative design and user experience management. Andrew holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a BA in English from California State University, Northridge, with additional education from Georgia Institute of Technology.
