Bob Nelson

Bob Nelson has extensive experience in the rail industry, currently serving as President at Transco - A Marmon Rail Company since January 2001, overseeing profit and loss responsibilities for multiple facilities and providing strategic leadership. Prior to this role, Bob held several positions at Canadian National Railway (CN) from September 1984 to January 2001, including General Manager for the largest railcar repair facility, where management of a 374-employee workforce and execution of a capital maintenance budget were key responsibilities. Other roles at CN included Manager of Car Maintenance, Technical Specialist, Mechanical Production Supervisor, and Mechanical Line Point Supervisor, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of railcar operations and maintenance.
