John Higo is an experienced engineering professional with a specialized background in reliability and project management within the transportation sector. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Transdev Ireland since December 2019, John has held roles including Engineering Manager (Interim) and Lead Engineer, focusing on reliability projects for LUAS trams. Previously, John worked at Alstom Transport for over a decade as a Lead Project Engineer and Maintenance Engineer, overseeing various projects related to the LUAS Vehicle and Infrastructure Network. Additional experience includes roles as an Industrial Electrician at Thornton’s Recycling and an Electro Mechanical Technician at ICDS Recruitment, contributing to expertise in maintenance and installation across different sectors. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management from University College Dublin and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronic Engineering from the Institute of Technology, Sligo.
