Bianca Batista is a highly experienced legal professional currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel for Major Projects at Transgrid since January 2022. Prior roles include Senior Associate at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers from March 2019 to January 2022, and at Vincent | Young for a brief tenure in 2017. Bianca also held the position of Senior Associate at Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr Inc from July 2013 to January 2017, and as Associate at Eversheds from January 2010 to June 2013, with earlier experience as a Candidate Attorney. An admitted notary, Bianca holds an LLB (cum laude) from the University of Johannesburg, completed in 2009, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Law and Economics from the same university, attained in 2006. Earlier education was completed at St Dunstans College.
