Jessie Abercrombie is a dedicated wellness access specialist for veterans at Transition Projects since November 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a substance use disorder professional-trainee at WCHS Vancouver Treatment Solutions and CORE Health in 2020 and various substance use disorder professional-trainee positions at Pioneer Human Services and Lummi Counseling Services from 2016 to 2018. Jessie worked as a fitness professional with the National Academy of Sports Medicine from September 1997 to January 2020, and served in the US Navy as a hospital corpsman and USAF aeromedical evacuation technician from 1989 to 2006. Education includes an Associate of Science in Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling from Central Oregon Community College, along with studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and Skagit Valley College.
