Jake Jones has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Jake started their career in 2000 as a Service Advisor/Warranty Clerk at Dunn Automotive Group. Jake then worked at Wachovia Bank as a Service Transaction Specialist from 2004 to 2005. Following this, they joined Ginn Development Company as a Project Accountant from 2005 to 2008. In 2009, they had a brief stint as an Accounts Payable Technician at Samaritan's Purse. Jake then joined Transitions LifeCare in 2009 and held multiple roles including Accounts Payable Technician, Accounts Receivable Technician, Staff Accountant/Accounts Payable Supervisor, and finally Director of Finance in June 2016. At Transitions LifeCare, they managed the Accounting and Accounts Payable departments, played a key role in the annual financial audit, created reports for executive decision-making, and was responsible for financial statement reporting and bank account reconciliation.
Jake Jones attended Watauga High School from 1995 to 1999. Jake then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Management at Appalachian State University from 1999 to 2003.

Celebrating life since 1979, Transitions LifeCare was founded as Hospice of Wake County in 1979 and provides physical, emotional and spiritual care to those living with an advanced illness, their caregivers and those who have lost a loved one. Our services include hospice care, palliative care, home health, caregiver support, and grief counseling. Services are provided regardless of age, race, religion or financial circumstances. Our service area includes eastern Chatham, Durham, Franklin, Harnett, Johnston, and Wake counties, as well as Chapel Hill and Carrboro (Orange County). Guided by community-based boards of directors and supported by a dedicated professional staff, our goal is to provide compassionate hospice care that allows patients to enjoy every moment of their lives to the fullest.
