Kristyn Noel has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Kristyn started their career as a Registered Nurse at CHOC Children's in 2016 and worked there until 2018. Kristyn then joined Duke University Health System as a Registered Nurse from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, they transitioned to Transitions LifeCare, where they held two roles. Kristyn first worked as a Pediatric Clinical Liaison from September 2020 to February 2022, providing medical and emotional support to pediatric patients and families. Later, they became a Pediatric Palliative Care Specialist-RN in March 2022, where they collaborated with teams to achieve patient-centered care goals and developed culturally sensitive care plans.
Kristyn Noel attended California State University-Sacramento from 2009 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. After completing their degree, they acquired additional certifications to enhance their nursing qualifications. In 2018, they became a Registered Nurse through the North Carolina Board of Nursing. The same year, they also obtained certification as a Pediatric Nurse from the Pediatric Certification Nursing Board. In 2016, they received certifications as a Public Health Nurse and a Registered Nurse from the Board Of Registered Nursing. Recently, in 2022, they earned a Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association's Lifelong Learning Center.

Celebrating life since 1979, Transitions LifeCare was founded as Hospice of Wake County in 1979 and provides physical, emotional and spiritual care to those living with an advanced illness, their caregivers and those who have lost a loved one. Our services include hospice care, palliative care, home health, caregiver support, and grief counseling. Services are provided regardless of age, race, religion or financial circumstances. Our service area includes eastern Chatham, Durham, Franklin, Harnett, Johnston, and Wake counties, as well as Chapel Hill and Carrboro (Orange County). Guided by community-based boards of directors and supported by a dedicated professional staff, our goal is to provide compassionate hospice care that allows patients to enjoy every moment of their lives to the fullest.
