Maria Tuffy is an experienced legal professional with a strong background in corporate and commercial law. Currently serving as Associate General Counsel and Company Secretary at Transitions Optical since August 2017, Maria has played a key role in legal matters related to one of the top photochromic lens manufacturers globally. Prior to this, Maria worked as an Associate Solicitor at Flynn O'Driscoll, focusing on a variety of corporate and commercial issues. Maria's previous experience includes serving as Associate Legal Counsel at Ornua, where responsibilities involved legal and compliance matters for a significant turnover group, and as a Corporate Associate at Arthur Cox, providing advice to clients on diverse corporate law aspects. Maria's educational background includes advanced qualifications in data protection and taxation, alongside a law degree from University of Galway, complemented by international legal education at The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg.
