Meredith Poppish, MSN, FNP-C has a diverse work experience in various healthcare settings. Meredith started their career as a Nurse Practitioner at Oaktree Medical Centre in 2008, specializing in neurology and pain management. In 2012, they worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at AfterOurs Urgent Care. From 2005 to 2013, they served as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Clinica Family Health Services, where they provided patient-centered care to a primarily Spanish-speaking population. Meredith then joined East Boston Neighborhood Health Center in 2013 as a Nurse Practitioner in adult medicine and emergency medicine. Meredith Poppish obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Health Promotion with a focus on Community Health Education from the University of Florida, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Meredith then pursued their Master of Science degree in Family Practice Nursing at the MGH Institute of Health Professions, completing their studies from 2002 to 2005.
In terms of certifications, Meredith Poppish became a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts in May 2013 after obtaining their license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing. Meredith became a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in September 2015, accredited by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Additionally, they obtained multiple certifications from the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association, including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Furthermore, Meredith Poppish received additional certifications related to project management, becoming a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) in May 2021 and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) in April 2021, both from the Scrum Alliance.
It is worth noting that they were also awarded a scholarship from the National Health Service Corps in July 2005 for their outstanding achievements in the healthcare field.
