Research Interviewer at Transparency International

Jabu Buku possesses extensive experience in various roles, including Call Screener at Europ Assistance since December 2003, specializing in handling life-threatening emergency calls. Simultaneously, Jabu has served as a Research Interviewer with Transparency International and a Tracer for One Trace since June 2008, focusing on administering research questionnaires and tracing clients for debt collection respectively. From January 2002, Jabu has also held the position of Labor Relations Officer at the Farm Hotel Catering & General Workers Union. Additionally, experience as a Science Communicator at Sci-Bono Discovery Centre from August 2010 to November 2022 involved engaging the public and learners in science through workshops and exhibits. A stint at the Department of Defence from June 2016 to June 2017 included managing international relations and assisting with foreign policy research. Jabu is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Relations at the University of South Africa, having previously earned a BA Honors in Labor and Industrial Relations from the University of the Witwatersrand.
