Benjamin Smith

Benjamin Smith is an accomplished Learning Design Lead at TransPerfect since September 2022, where responsibilities include leading a globally distributed Learning Experience Design team, managing vendor networks, and optimizing project processes. Previously, Benjamin served as a Senior Learning Designer, establishing learning approaches for international clients. As the Director of the North American Language and Culture Program for Adults at the International Institute in Spain, recruitment and curriculum oversight were key focus areas. Benjamin’s experience at EF Education First included managing training for over 2000 teachers globally and overseeing academic teams at various locations. Benjamin began an academic career at Silpakorn University while holding multiple leadership roles in educational institutions. Education includes a B.A. in English Language and Literature from Temple University and various TESOL certifications.
