Leonie van der Meer

Leonie van der Meer is a highly experienced professional in project management and localization, currently serving as Production Team Lead and Project Manager at TransPerfect since March 2017. Previously, Leonie held the position of Localization Manager for E-Commerce at BESTSELLER from March 2016 to March 2017, and served as Head of Project Management at Wilkens c.s. Vertalers • Tolken from September 2009 to March 2016, where responsibilities included leading a team of thirteen project managers and ensuring compliance with ISO and NEN certifications. Leonie's early career included the role of Editor at Liones from August 2008 to August 2009. Leonie holds a Research MA in Contemporary English Literature from Leiden University and has participated in the Harting Exchange Program at University College Dublin, along with earning a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Leiden University.
