Mathew Roberts

Mathew Roberts is a Transport Strategy Officer and Carbon and Freight Lead at Transport for Greater Manchester, where since October 2015, Mathew has managed emission reduction programs and contributed to the GM climate change and low emissions strategy. With a decade of experience in sustainable energy and transport, Mathew previously served as a Senior Climate Change Co-ordinator at Groundwork Leeds, overseeing energy and carbon projects and managing a team of energy advisors. Earlier roles include Sustainable Energy Services Project Co-ordinator and Outreach Energy Officer at the United Sustainable Energy Agency, focusing on project management, training, public engagement, and energy efficiency advocacy. Mathew holds a BA (Hons) in Geography from Aberystwyth University and A-level qualifications in Geography, History, Biology, and Economics from Poynton Sixth Form.
