Simon Hunter

Simon Hunter is an accomplished transport planner with extensive experience in senior leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Chief Transport Planner at Transport for NSW since June 2022, Simon previously held the position of Executive Director at the NSW Department of Planning, Industry, and Environment, leading strategy and innovation initiatives. Simon possesses a solid background in transport strategy and integrated planning, having worked at Transport for NSW in multiple capacities, including Executive Director of Transport Strategy and Principal Manager in Regional Transport. Education credentials include a Master of Executive Public Administration from ANZSOG and a Bachelor of Arts/Law from the University of New England, along with participation in ITLS Summer School.
