Zia Khan

Zia Khan is an experienced mechanical engineer and risk analyst, currently serving as a Risk Analyst at Transport for NSW since January 2023. Zia has also held the position of Mechanical Project/Design Engineer at DKE Group since October 2020, where responsibilities include project engineering, risk management, and 3D CAD modeling. Previous roles include Mechanical Project Engineer at C-Mac Industries, where Zia managed mechanical design projects, and Mechanical Design Engineer at Gammasonics, focusing on equipment used in nuclear medicine. Zia's research experience at the University of Southern Queensland involved studying natural fibre composites, and earlier work as Project Manager at Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited included managing engineering and construction projects. Zia holds a Masters in Engineering Research from the University of Southern Queensland and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
