Azikiwe K. Rich

Azikiwe K. Rich, MPA, currently serves as the Assistant Commissioner of Analytics, Performance, & Management at the New York City Department of Transportation, where leadership involves mentoring over 25 data professionals and overseeing key performance management initiatives. Rich has held multiple roles within the DOT, including Executive Director of Performance Management, where responsibilities expanded to include the agency's Chief Performance Officer, and the creation of the DOT Equity in Asset Management Tool. Additional involvement includes serving as a member of the Advisory Committee on Transportation Equity for the U.S. Department of Transportation, a Fellow in the Transformative Justice Infrastructure Fellowship with Communities First Fund, and various leadership and development programs. Rich's earlier experience includes directorial roles at NYC Citywide Administrative Services and the New York City Mayor's Office of Management and Budget. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Loyola University Maryland and a Master of Public Administration in Public Management from Marist College.
