Dan Edwards

Dan Edwards currently serves as the Acting Assistant Secretary for Aviation and International Affairs at the U.S. Department of Transportation, a role held since May 2025. Edwards has extensive experience in leadership positions across various companies in the aerospace and defense sector, including serving as Chief Executive Officer at Elliott Aviation and Triman Industries, Inc., as well as Vice President of Operations at MAG Aerospace. Edwards's background includes significant roles in engineering and project management at Zodiac Aerospace, and a commanding position in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. Edwards holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy.
