Sonal Nalawade

Sonal Nalawade is a Senior Structural Engineer with extensive experience in various sectors, primarily focusing on asset strategy, planning, and structural design. Currently employed by Transurban since November 2022, Sonal previously served as Project Lead Structures and Senior Structures Engineer in the Department of Transport. In earlier roles, Sonal worked as a Structural Engineer at Ecologiq Pty Ltd and as a Senior Structural Engineer at Wood, Aibel, and Aker Solutions, specializing in the analysis and detailed design of topside structures for offshore platforms and precast concrete structures. Early career experience includes a position as a Design Engineer at Clique Consultants Pvt Ltd, focusing on the design of reinforced concrete buildings. Sonal holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute.
