Natasha McCarty currently serves as the Operations Planning Manager at TraPac since March 2022, overseeing the planning, monitoring, and supervision of vessel cargo operations, which includes the formation of operating plans and ensuring stowage accuracy. Prior to this role, Natasha worked at Crowley as a Second Officer and Third Officer, handling safety documentation, voyage planning, and operational responsibilities during cargo and ballast operations. Additional experience includes serving as a Merchant Mariner at The Vane Brothers Company, where responsibilities involved cargo operations and deck work, and as a Second Mate at Scripps Institution of Oceanography with a focus on advanced ship handling and scientific operations. Natasha began the career as an AB Tankerman at Kirby and served as a Teaching Assistant for Texas A&M University’s Shiphandling Course, following an educational background in Marine Transportation from Texas A&M Maritime Academy, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 2016.
