Sarah Funke

Sarah Funke currently serves as a Security Risk & Compliance Analyst II at Johnson County, KS Government, focusing on IT Compliance, PCI, and HIPAA, while also revamping the third-party risk assessment process. Previously, Sarah was the Cybersecurity Manager for Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) at Waddell & Reed, where oversight of a team supporting cyber governance and compliance was a key responsibility. Sarah has also held positions as an Information Security Analyst and a Data Security Analyst, contributing to developing cybersecurity policies and managing security updates for various clients. Sarah's experience includes a role as a Legal Secretary at Stinson Morrison Hecker LLP, an Electronic Surveillance Technician at Sprint Nextel, and a Subpoena Compliance Specialist. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Benedictine College.
