Kristan Pardue is a Program Manager at Tree House Humane Society, responsible for developing and expanding the volunteer program. Prior to this, Kristan worked at Unity as a People Operations Program Manager, focusing on alignment with organizational priorities and global processes. With experience in recruitment operations and human resources administration, Kristan has a background in implementing solutions to enhance team efficiency and global alignment. Previous roles include administrative support at Nobutaka Ashihara Architect PC and teaching positions at Columbia High School. Kristan also holds a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida.

Tree House is Chicago's oldest cage-free cat shelter, founded in 1971. We are now housed in an eco-friendly shelter where our cats have access to sunlight and fresh air. We provide Community Cats services, low-cost spay and neuter, and assistance with TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return). And we have plenty of cats who are ready for a loving home!
