Jay Ng

Jay Ng has been working as a software engineer at TreeRing since 2019. Theirrole includes collaborating closely with the team to discuss application architecture, UI components, and backend integration, as well as developing and maintaining performant and scalable enterprise applications using Angular, TypeScript, and PHP. Jay has also developed web services for new modules and optimized existing web services, and reduced MySQL workload by implementing query caching with Redis in the backend system. Additionally, they have demonstrated the ability to design and code from specifications, analyze, evaluate, test, and debug. Since 2019, Jay Ng has also been working on personal projects at GitHub, taking on roles as a backend engineer, flutter engineer, and frontend engineer.

Jay Ng obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco in 2018. In March of 2018, they also earned a React Nanodegree Program certification from Udacity.
