Peter Doherty is an accomplished RF engineer with extensive experience in precision analog circuit designs and radio technologies. As a Senior Staff RF Engineer at TrellisWare Technologies since June 2019, Peter focuses on high throughput, low latency free space optical communications modems and has developed a software-defined radio for the U.S. Army's tactical radio systems. Prior experience includes leading RF system design at Entropic Communications, overseeing a team of 30, and architecting ASIC solutions at RF Magic for DirecTV. Peter's career spans various roles in RF system engineering at notable companies such as Ericsson and 3G Cellular. Peter holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from North Carolina State University and has completed a leadership program at UC San Diego.
