Claudia Dominguez

Principal Scientist at TRex Bio

Claudia Dominguez has worked in the field of science since 2004. Claudia began their career as a Research Assistant at Stanford University, where they phenotyped neural migration and myelination mutants from a mutagenesis screen in zebrafish. In 2007, they moved to Yale University to pursue their PhD, focusing on the transcriptional regulation of CD8 T cells. After completing their PhD in 2014, they joined Genentech as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, researching the tumor microenvironment and its effects on the immune system. In 2019, they became a Senior Scientist at Gritstone Oncology, where they supported work on their vaccine platform, established an NSG model for bispecific work, and laid the groundwork for new models supporting research. In 2022, they moved to TRexBio as a Senior Scientist.

Claudia Dominguez attended Yale University from 2007 to 2014, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Immunobiology. Prior to that, they attended Stanford University from 1999 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Human Biology.
