Treyarch
Ewan Oughton has a diverse work experience that spans several roles and companies. Ewan started their career as a Perl hacker at Elsevier Science in 2003. After that, they worked as a Graduate Software Developer at IBM from February 2006 to May 2007. In June 2007, they joined Demonware as a Trainee Network Games Programmer. Ewan then moved to Treyarch in November 2007 as a Software Engineer and worked in that role until September 2012. Ewan was then promoted to Senior Software Engineer and held that position until June 2016. From June 2016 to January 2020, they worked as a Specialist Engineer at Treyarch, taking on a mentoring and technical direction role. Currently, they serve as a Principal Engineer at Treyarch, where they focus on automation, networking, distributed systems, and security. Ewan has contributed to the development of the game Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
Ewan Oughton pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems with a specialization in Computer Networks and Multimedia from the University of Limerick between 2001 and 2005. Ewan later attended UCLA in 2014 to complete the Technical Management Program. It is worth noting that Ewan received a certification in the Technical Management Program from UCLA Extension, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
