Umer Usman serves as the Director of Strategy and Corporate Development at The Restaurant Group, overseeing the development and execution of corporate strategy and managing the M&A pipeline, which includes due diligence, valuation, and integration processes. Umer collaborates with the C-suite to identify new business opportunities and presents strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors. Prior roles at The Restaurant Group include Head of Corporate Development and Investor Relations and Corporate Finance Manager, where responsibilities encompassed investor relations strategy, corporate initiatives, and financial reporting. Umer's experience also includes working as an Assistant Manager at Deloitte, where audit planning and execution were conducted in compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP. Umer holds a BA in Economics and Finance from The University of Manchester and completed GCE O & A Levels at Karachi Grammar School.
