Aleksandra (Sasha) Zagulyaeva, PhD, is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in biomedicine and chemical biology. Currently serving as Scientist II at TRIANA Biomedicines since October 2022, Aleksandra leads discovery efforts. Previously, as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research from January 2020 to October 2022, Aleksandra independently managed multiple projects in synthetic biology and gene editing, contributing to platform development and project acceleration. Aleksandra's academic background includes a PhD in Chemical Biology from the University of Florida, where significant research focused on protein-protein interactions and nonribosomal peptide biosynthesis. With a strong foundation in organic chemistry and teaching experience, Aleksandra has developed and refined methodologies across various institutions, including Gained at the University of Minnesota Duluth and Moscow State University.
