Danish Usmani has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Danish started their career in 2009 at AVEVA, where they worked as a Sr. Software Engineer on the AVEVA Net Portal. Danish then moved on to ManSoft Systems as a Sr. Software Engineer, working on the implementation of a cloud-based ERP application.
In 2011, Usmani joined Microsoft as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on replacing existing Info-Path forms with web forms. Danish then joined Humana Inc. in 2012 as a Senior Software Engineer, working on various projects for the American health insurance company.
From 2014 to 2018, Usmani worked at Westpac as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to both web and Windows applications. Danish was involved in tasks such as coding, creating design documents, and optimizing code for performance.
Starting in 2018, Usmani worked at Bepoz as a Senior Software Engineer, developing native Android and hybrid Android/iOS apps for the Bepoz Stocking System. Danish utilized various technologies such as Kotlin, Ionic, and Angular 10.
In 2021, Usmani joined Optus as a Senior Software Engineer, primarily focusing on Android app development for the My Optus app. Danish contributed to incremental updates, developed new features, and wrote unit tests.
In 2022, Usmani worked at 7-Eleven Australia as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the development of the My 7-Eleven app. Danish added new Google Play Integrity API and wrote unit tests using frameworks like Junit.
Most recently, in 2023, Usmani joined Appscore as a Chapter Lead, specializing in Android development.
Throughout their career, Usmani has worked with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, UI/UX designers, and product owners, to ensure clear requirements and provide technical input into the development process. Danish has experience with various technologies and frameworks such as Kotlin, MVVM, SQLite, Retrofit2, and OkHttp.
Danish Usmani completed their Bachelor of Engineering from Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, during the period of 1998-2002. Danish also obtained a certification in PRINCE2® from APMG-International in 2013.
