Jonathan Hawes is a dedicated hardware engineer currently employed at Trident Systems Incorporated since May 2022, with prior experience as an electrical engineer at Jacobs from January 2021 to June 2022. Notable contributions include engineering work on a bistatic X-band radar imaging system and mechanical redesigns for improved functionality. Prior roles include an electrical engineering intern at VPT, Inc., focusing on PCB design and radiation performance testing, and leadership within the Virginia Tech Wind Turbine Team, achieving a second-place finish at a national competition. Additional internships at MPR Associates, GE Aviation, and the University of Maryland involved critical analysis and software development in nuclear power systems and aviation certification processes. Jonathan Hawes holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Virginia Tech.
