DJ Hampton II, JD is the President & CEO of Trident United Way and a Member of the Board of Directors at United Way NEXT. With a background in non-profit strategic planning, training, executive coaching, donor engagement, and system change management, DJ has also held roles at ALoDay Consulting, Turnkey P2P, Stanton Blackwell, March of Dimes, The ALS Association, and United Way Worldwide. DJ's educational background includes a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law, along with a Masters in Community Service Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Alfred University.

We work to make real, long-lasting change through collective impact, a systematic approach in which many partners agree in advance on how they will approach the issue at hand and how they will determine success. These collaborations require a backbone organization to manage the partnership and ensure communication among the partners. Trident United Way often plays that backbone role.
