Jacy Mendez, E.I. is an Assistant Staff Engineer at Trihydro Corporation, specializing in groundwater sampling and remediation across Wyoming. Responsibilities include writing reports for regulatory agencies, assisting with project proposals, and conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. Previously, Jacy served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Colorado State University, focusing on the development of a capillary immunoassay for hormone detection. Experiences extend to internships at Idaho National Laboratory and the University of Wyoming, where Jacy engaged in bioleaching experiments and antigen assay development, respectively. Jacy demonstrated leadership as President of the AIChE chapter at the University of Wyoming, planning events and organizing workshops, while also participating in various outreach initiatives. Jacy holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Colorado State University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming.
