Jochen Brill has extensive work experience in the field of spectroscopy and sensor systems. Jochen is currently the Director of Spectroscopy Product Development at trinamiX GmbH, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Manager of Data & Sensor Technology at the same company from April 2022 to January 2023. Jochen also worked as the Senior Manager of Product Development & Production from April 2021 to March 2022, Senior Manager of Spectroscopy Solutions from October 2020 to March 2021, and Senior Manager of Sensor Systems from August 2018 to September 2020.
Before joining trinamiX GmbH, Jochen worked at BASF, where they held various roles. Jochen was a Senior Manager from January 2012 to July 2018, a Senior Scientist from September 2009 to December 2011, and a Research Scientist from April 2006 to August 2009.
Prior to their industry experience, Jochen worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the University of Stuttgart from April 2002 to March 2006.
Jochen Brill attended the University of Stuttgart from 1991 to 1998, where they studied Physics. Jochen then pursued further education at the same university and obtained a Dr.-Ing. degree in Elektrotechnik und Elektronik from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, Brill briefly attended the University of Maryland in 1995-1996 to study Physics.
