Ciaran Finn

Ciaran Finn serves as the Chief Technical Officer in the Department of Microbiology at Trinity College Dublin since April 2022, focusing on streamlining technical services and establishing innovative research approaches. Previously, Ciaran held roles as a Visiting Research Fellow and Assistant Professor at Trinity College Dublin, teaching various microbiology modules and mentoring students. Ciaran's research background includes a Visiting Postdoctoral Fellowship at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, where notable work was conducted on Salmonella Typhimurium, and a PhD in Molecular Microbiology from University College Dublin. An undergraduate degree in Molecular Microbiology was obtained from Trinity College Dublin.
